Time & Space
We’ve been wondering for eons whether we’d hear from FMLYBND again. The band from Costa Mesa, California has been absent from the scene for two long years after dazzling us all with their euphoric, bombastic electro-pumping alt anthems, which translate to incredible live shows erupting with endless energy and charisma. Just as we were starting to fear that they’d bade us farewell, FMLYBND suddenly resurfaces with a new single named Wasting My Time. They shed some of the synth exuberance of their earlier hits on this more stripped down alt rock offering, giving us a heartfelt and earnest tune with balmy marimbas and gruff, earthy acoustics. Summer lingers in the air as we sway eagerly to FMLYBND and their scruffy rock on their long awaited new single, hopefully a harbinger of tons more new music to come from the band. You can also stream FMLYBND’s Wasting My Time on Spotify, here, or download from iTunes, here.
