Final Major Project UPDATE

Sooo I just had my first presentation about the film and was surprised how well it went. The general consensus I got was that the project was moving in a refreshing direction and it was good that i was trying something new.

What I need to do before i start filming again next week, week commencing the 18th of March, is:

1) Animatic ( That will be based on my last storyboard for timing and to be sent to my sound designer so he can get a sense of timing and hopefully send me some work back)

2) Finalised Character Design Sheet (Created on Flash, as this is the program i'm using, with the textured dungarees she wears a mask of brown boots)

This film by Lucas Brunelle has been my main source of inspiration for this project. Brunelle captures footage from two cameras that are mounted to his helmet whilst he cycles dangerously through traffic with his fellow couriers. I have also created a bicycle camera helmet and created my test animation from footage i filmed.

Sound Reference

For my project working title: Bicycle Trip, features the protagonist (the cyclist) cycling home when her world around her changes. She temporarily enters another realm, an alternative reailty and as she continues to cycle, through catalysts on her journey, the two worlds chop and change until finally she reaches her destination. 

For the alternate reality i have wanted the soundtrack to be of an electro nature heavy on synths and up beat. Just like Future Daniel by Clark that i heard during a scene in Lucas Brunelle's 'Line Of Sight.'
