FN Herstal Five-seveN with a Burris Fastfire III optic. Very sweet pistol, chambered in FN's 5.7x28 caliber.

One of the two of us really likes mini reflexes on their pistols. The Five-Seven is outfitted with a Burris fast fire III. The sight is mounded via plate, and replaces the rear sight. No milling is required, however the slide will more than likely need to be disassembled and the rear sight mount fixed in place. But I digress, this reflex sight has a very crisp 3 moa dot with 4 brightness settings (auto, bright, medium, and dim). The automatic setting is useful for each situation I have tested. The glock 21sf is sporting a trijicon rmr with 6.5 moa. The slide has been milled down to allow cowitness with the suppressor height sights. There is no auto setting for bightness. Just "+" and "-" buttons to allow for the desired setting. Both pistols are a dream to shoot, and feel like cheating when shooting under stress.

I’m currently reading up on the FN Five-seveN, as I decided to give Jake one in Jake and the Dynamo 2: Dead to Rites. I always meant to let the poor kid have a gun sooner or later. It just took me longer than I expected.

Installed an optic on the FN Five-seveN, and used 3d printing to make things go smoother. It’s a pretty sweet what one can do with a printer. We made custom tooling to help the arbor press work the pins on this operation. We also made custom braces to keep the slide level, and protect the polymer from damage as it was pressed. All of this helped keep the punch and pin parallel for the install procedure.
