Honestly, the ending is pretty dark Shredder and Krang set to team up and Mutantgen Man gets away with the Pulverizer pretty much gone.

Again I do like that Pulverizer Returns that the Turtles get an ego which makes sense since they are immature at times and its going to take some time for them to change, but Splinter being the mentor obviously realizes this and stops it before then.

Part 1

Chapter 5

Tw for blood, stabbing, mention of death and murder, and pain

April and Splinter emerged from the sewers at an incredible speed. They looked around for a minute.

.....where do you think they are?

Splinter pointed towards a group of people on the sidewalk, enraged by what the monster had done to them.

I'd say over there! We must hurry, April!

The two ran towards the rambunctious crowd, hoping to reach Raph and the creature before it was too late. But the crowds were still furious. Noone was making a way, or giving a path. Splinter saw Raph thought the crowd, ready to give a deadly blow to the creature.

RAPHAEL!!! NO!!!!

The words reached Raph's ears as he made his move, causing him to stab the creature in its torso instead of its chest. The creature cried in pain, but still had no defense against its enraged foe. Raph looked into its eyes again. This time, there was not only fear, but tears and pain. He looked down at where he had stabbed the creature .....

To see just below where his sai was, was a belt with a letter on it. Too much blood covered it, so he couldn't make out what the letter was; then something caught his eye above it.

It was a shell.

The creature had a shell beneath its jacket.

Pieces started coming together.

The world was becoming blurry around Raph, as he used his shirt to wipe away the blood from the belt. Splinter's cries became faded in the ear piercing sound of Raph's heart beat. Now he could read the letter.

It was a D.

In all the confusion, Raph looked the creature dead in the eyes, and through forming tears whispered;

Donnie?

The creature looked up at Raph. As tears started to drop out of Raph's eyes, the creature also started to tear up. It looked away from Raph in shame, as water began streaming down its cheeks.

Please..,.. finish it. I-I have nothing to live for.

The creature said in a small, quiet, gruffy voice.

Raph looked at the sai in his hand, then at the bloody creature before him.

One move could end all of this.

No more pain.

Vengeance for the two brothers that fell victim to this monster.

Raph thought of all of the ways that ending this creature would benefit him and his family, and this thing wasn't resisting!

It was the honorable thing to do.

It was the RIGHT thing to do.

Raph made his move.

He lunged towards the creature, but to the surprise of everyone who was watching, including Splinter and April who had finally gotten through the crowd, it wasn't the so long awaited for killing blow.

It was a hug.

Raph embraced his brother, letting forgiveness wipe away the thoughts in his mind. Donnie rested his head in Raph's shoulders, as Raph scooped him up in his arms.

W-why didn't you kill me? You have every right to! I-im the one who did it!

Donnie choked through his tears.

Because you're still my brother, not a monster.

Raph gave Donnie a little pat on the back and started to walk away from the crowd.

Cmon, Dad, April. We need to get him home.

Believe it or not, this is where I was gonna end the story.
