Finally the Lord Luminous vibe check (introduction).
Lord Luminous’s life pre-star was a hell-fest. His Eclipse was so much more abusive than canon. He would lock his body for days on end, torture him to ‘keep him in line’, beat him unconscious, give him constant injuries, break him over and over and over only to fix him back to barely functional each time he broke him.
When Lord Luminous was meant to give Blood Moon the body, he didn’t stop them in time.
The twins nearly tore him apart, giggling all the while they were slowly leaving him on the brink of death. They left him only conscious enough to drawl back to the daycare and curl up in a party room crying.
Eclipse finds Lord Luminous like this and fixes him again, though he didn’t break him to begin with, and tortures him on how he got so injured. Lord Luminous lets slip that he knows Blood Moon.
Eclipse turns the torture 24/7 after that betrayal and Lord Luminous lives in agony for the next two weeks before Eclipse gets the star. When Eclipse gets the star finally, he releases Lunar from the torture machine and brings him out to see the star working as it’s almost finished charging.
Lord Luminous is so exhausted after two weeks of torture and the betrayal of Blood Moon that he’s stumbling and clinging onto Eclipse just to stay standing.
During this exhausted state, Lord Luminous asks to talk to Sun one last time before the wipe and Eclipse allows this for only a moment. Lord Luminous asks Sun if he would hurt him too, to which Sun says yes, since he thinks Lord Luminous is just hurt after getting the star.
Lord Luminous asks Moon if he would hurt him and gets another struggled ‘yes, for hurting me all month!’. Lord Luminous sees knows Monty hates him after the incident with Blood Moon, he said it to his face that he made a monster before Monty let him crawl back to the daycare by himself.
Once the star is fully charged and Monty sends Blood Moon to kill Eclipse, Lord Luminous gets ahold of the star and holds it for comfort because it’s so warm and he’s cold and he activates it to wipe the world and restart it as something peaceful.
When Lord Luminous wakes up in his new world, Monty is dead and Sun (Incandescent), Moon (Phosphorescent), Eclipse (Fluorescent), and Blood Moon (Iridescent, aka the chaotic twin, and Opalescent, the calmer twin) are still alive, but thoroughly beaten and broken. Kill Code (Pearlescent) gets pulled out of Phos eventually and also asked if he would betray him as well, which he says he would for what he’s done and what he undoubtedly plans to do.
He locks them in dungeons, isolating them even from each other as he makes his world perfect. He leaves them there for a fifty years, not minding that they’ve long since broken how he did and become quite humble and loyal servants of his. And, if it doesn’t work to make them his proper servants, Lord Luminous will toss them back in.
None of his servants dare try to betray him anymore or they get locked in the dungeons again. There was only two incidents of attempts to betray him. One with Iri and Opal and another with Pearl. Iri and Opal for fun and Pearl for isolating him from his sons.
Fluor is very meek after the isolation, same with Dessy (Incandescent), Phos hasn’t spoken in a century from how broken he is. Iri and Opal are eventually let back out as well as Pearl once they are all far too broken to be anything but loyal humble servants.
