My Theories/Speculations on Freddy & Friends on Tour Ep. 4
First off, let’s talk about this week’s office layout on securitybreachtv.com.
It’s well known by now that the office layout on securitybreathtv.com is updated every week or so with little teasers/hints as to who we will be seeing in the latest episode of Freddy & Friends on Tour. However, we got none for this week’s episode. Instead, we get a messy office, glitched out/busted computer/tv screens, and a blood stained desk. At first glance, one would think that there are no indicators as to who the character we could be seeing in the new episode could be. But, when you actually start to think about it, the pieces click into place. The office layout is clearly mirroring Vanny and what’s going on inside her head; the glitched out/busted computer/tv screens are dead giveaways to Glitchtrap’s control over Vanny, and how chaotic and broken he’s left her mind. The blood stains on the desk are pretty self explanatory; they could be hinting at the theory that Vanny did indeed kill Gregory’s friends, and they’re most certainly not safe like she implied in the first trailer.
2. Vanessa’s Redesign and Her Eye Color
Look at these two pictures side by side. Now tell me that Steel Wool Studios hasn’t made immense progress with Vanessa’s model. Just try. When you don’t even have to see a model’s full face to know that it’s a good model, you know the studio did something right. Great job, Steel Wool!
As for Vanessa’s eye color changing from green to yellow, I believe that this was merely a matter of design choice and nothing more. However, who knows! This is FNaF, after all, so maybe it does mean something.
3. The Vanny Reveal & Who She May Be Speaking To At The End of The Video
I’m going to go right ahead and say the same thing that I did about Vanessa’s redesign. Vanny looks stunning! Keep up the great work, Steel Wool!
The big question for a lot of people right now is who Vanny is speaking to when she asks, “Are you having fun yet?” at the end of the episode. I believe that there are many possibilities as to who she could be speaking to, and I thought I’d share my thoughts on it.
Vanny could be simply breaking the fourth wall, asking us as the viewer if we’re having fun decoding all of the teasers in the Freddy & Friends on Tour episodes leading up to the release of the game.
Vanny could be speaking to Gregory. In the State of Play trailer, we got a shot of Gregory staring up at a giant wall of computers.
That being said, Gregory could be attempting to dismantle something/shut something down in order to stop Vanny and Glitchtrap via the computer systems. Vanny could have somehow found out what he was doing, and got his attention on one of the security cameras in order to speak to him over the cameras, letting him know that she knows what he’s doing, and she’s coming for him.
4. Foxy Teaming Up With The Main Gang
Pretty much all of us fans have gotten used to the past three episodes being a re-run of the same episode (One member of the Faz-Gang asks Foxy if he’ll join their band, he chases them in return, they catch him and reveal that he’s actually a robot, yadda yadda). But, this week we got something new! Foxy finally joined the band, but only after Freddy shared a slice of pizza with him and cracked a joke. The episode ends with all four of them performing happily, and yay, happy ending.
But, I don’t think that it’s a coincidence that the episode where Foxy finally joins the band is also Vanny’s teaser episode. I think the overarching symbolism of the episode is the team-up of Vanny and Glitchtrap. Think about it, Foxy is reluctant to join the band until he’s persuaded with food and jokes from Freddy. Vanny is also reluctant to join Glitchtrap (I mean, she’s literally known as the “reluctant follower”) and only teams up with Glitchtrap after some heavy manipulation. Coincidence? I think not!
