I've wanted to redraw the scrapped cover art that was made for Count The Ways for a while, so I finally did it, using a render I did of the same scene in blender as a reference.

This piece took me almost 3x my usual time spent on a single drawing and boy I can feel every nerve and muscle in my wrist slowly dying to death, HOWEVER, IT WAS WORTH IT. >:D

That's it. That's the entire story of Count The Ways.

Fun Fact: According to the Five Nights at Freddy's: The Ultimate Guide, Millie's hair is actually brown and her eyes are grey/hazel.

There's someone on the CTW tag who keeps posting about a ship between CTW!Funtime Freddy and Millie's grandpa.

You know who you are.

Anyways, every time I see one of those posts, I can't help but laugh at the idea of Freddy and Millie's grandpa just being lovey dovey wholesome and then Millie herself walks in, sees her grandfather and a giant robot bear being romantic with each other, and just walks out questioning her life and how it got to that point.

Like I don't ship that (no hate to the people who do ship them, it's just not my thing) but the image of Millie having a crisis over the sight of her grandfather being romantic with a literal robot is hilarious.

Funtime Freddy: I have this gut feeling that something bad is going on. Millie, in his stomach hatch: *MUFFLED SCREAMING*

Kind of Angst but also sweet fic idea

I just saw someone draw Millie with Molten Freddy and it reminded me of this idea of a fic that I had a while ago but haven't gotten to yet.

Count The Ways but it's a mix of the Fazbear Frights timeline and the games timeline. Millie survives, FunFred ends up trying to befriend her and makeup for what he did but out of intense guilt and shame he one day is just...gone.

Millie and her grandfather look all over for him but they can't find him, it's like he just vanished.

And then years later, maybe while Millie's in college or when she's finally at her dream job of being a Librarian, one day she just hears something outside her window.

And there he is, years later, after the fire he SOMEHOW escaped, so he's just this mangled and burnt Funtime Freddy/Molten Freddy. He's by far more deranged and has been traumatized to a point that he's barely speaking but he remembered her.

Millie helps him in through the window and they both finally get some sense of peace after everything. Seeing her kind of snapped him out of his almost psychotic and delusional mindset and grounded him back to reality, it's the first time he's felt safe and happy in years.

And Millie's just happy to see that he's alive. He's damaged to hell and desperately needs a proper shelter and repair but he's alive.

There's a few ways I can imagine it ending. Maybe Molten decides to stay in his wirey and mangled mess of a body, maybe Millie repairs him and the others back into a more stable version of Ennard/Molten Freddy, or maybe they decide to be separate animatronics again and Millie just has like three different animatronic guardians now.

Either way I want them to live happily ever after as best friends because ya know what, they deserve a happy ending.

I don't care what anyone says, if Fazbear Frights had boss battle music for each antagonist, VS. Susie would be Count The Ways Funtime Freddy's boss music. /hj /lh
