I was gonna make a post about this yesterday but I forgot so here’s my worthless opinion about Fem Eclipse/Clipsy.

I fucking adore her, she’s so silly and I love the approach they’re taking with her. She’s not exactly evil, she’s more of a mean prankster. As much as she likes causing people pain and fear, she’s not activly seeking out to do and only does it when she gets the chance. She likes to mess with Sunny and Moonie which is expected, and it’s funny to see how easily she gets under their skin.

I really like the contrast between her and our Eclipse. Eclipse was traumatized and tortured in Suns mind for years before he got out, causing him to act the way he does now. Clipsy only mentions being stuck in Sunny and Moonie’s heads. The interesting part is that she was trapped in both of them. Something else is that Moonie doesn’t have the issues with a killcode that Moon did, which is the entire reason Eclipse exists.

I will say, I am a little disappointed because I really wanted a more evil Eclipse, kinda like V1 was and it was weird seeing Clipsy be so casual with others, especially with Monty if all people. Granted she did traumatized them by the end of the episode but that was in a different dimension where all she did was take her through a portal. She didn’t directly cause physiological harm the way Eclipse did, and I miss that evil aspect of him.

With that said, again, I adore her and I really like how different she is. She gives Older Sister Mean Girl vibes, and I love that. I want to see how her relationship with the others will evolve and maybe I’ll get my wish granted and she’ll be evil at some point. I also really wanna see her relationship with Earth.

Basically I love her and I love the differences between her and Eclipse. She is silly and amazing and I can’t wait to see more of her.
