Citra and Rowan are chosen as apprentices and their year of training is so much more than they expected. You want to pretend this never happened? I’m not sure I can, but if it’s what you want I’ll try. - Blissfully Snowbound by Red Phoenix ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~ Picked this as my book with a winter word in the title, ended up reading the larger book that it belongs in, Blissfully Undone, too. Snowbound was good, Undone was a little eh. The antagonist, Kelly, felt way too over the top. I was pretending that we could just move forward like nothing happened, but that’s not fair to you. It's so cute, and funny, and painful in the way that only real life can be. Reading a book about the middle of a relationship instead of the beginning of one was refreshing. People see so much of the beginning where everything is rosy and happy and perfect. As someone who's been married to the same man for thirteen years, I can say that real relationships are work!
