Lauren and John moved into my Boston Red Rocket settlement and set up a pharmacology operation in the patio area below the old fuel station. Lauren cooks and handles the sales, while John grows. They share a small shack behind their shopfront.

Life is Trash. Trash is Life.
I have this odd sort of affection for Trashcan Carla. So I was really happy to see that the Thematic and Practical mod included sets made to attract and be used by particular Bunker Hill merchants, so I could make Carla her own little trash kingdom in my settlements.
Here’s one of her settlement shops that I set up in Cambridge Red Rocket. She has her caps stash (which calls her to the location) her own chair, a wall leaning marker, a trough for her brahmin, and her own scavenging bench.
I’ve decided the orange rocket trashcan is her official shop sign , kind of like a barbershop pole except for trash vendors, and I will place one at all of the Trashcan Carla franchises in my settlements.

The Lexington Red Rocket by day.
This settlement is now pretty much complete. 15 settlers for 15 beds, and not really any place to expand living quarters. They produce 18 food and I think 18 water as well, and defense rating is over 100. They’ve got 4 Northland Diggers stations to work at, producing steel and aluminum, oil, screws and gears, ceramic and concrete, and ammo, plus one standard salvage bench. And one T3 general trader.
I’ve made a point of upgrading the weapons and armor of all the settlers here, especially the guards. Sooner or later, ferals will respawn, and it’s only a matter of time before the Behemoth shows up as well. (In my last save, I landed right under his feet while fast travelling to this settlement.) So I want these guys to be ready for anything.
The raiders on the Corvega plant have respawned. My settlers take no shit from them, and actually go out gunning for them from time to time. *beams with pride*

Red Rocket settlement.
The firepit at night is my favorite thing about this settlement.
