another thing i forgot to add about being the sole survivor:

because my name was ellis, ellie and i bonded about how our names were so similar when we first met and it became kind of a running joke between us

sometimes when nick called for one of us the other would answer (pretending we’d misheard him) and it was endlessly fun because he’d get so frustrated

after a while nick just started calling me “el” while ellie’s name remained unchanged so it was a little bit more of a reach, but still fun af

some sole survivor memories i never wrote down:

i was wrong about shaun being a girl; im 98% sure he was actually a trans guy, like me.

i used to collect cigarettes while out scavenging in the commonwealth to bring them to nick. it was such a little thing, but it made him happy.

likewise, i used to bring clothing and little trinkets for ellie, paper and supplies for piper, and toys for nat

codsworth and dogmeat were with me basically 24/7, and i travelled with nick a lot, too. thank god for multiple companion mods that make things feel more accurate tbh

i didnt like using power armour because it made me feel claustrophic (and wasnt my style)

i relied on stealth more than anything else when getting around the commonwealth, and favored sniper rifles. probably the only reason i didnt get myself killed tbh (i was scrawny and would never have made it in hand-to-hand)
