So Youngster Joey walks into the Magnus Institute and says, “I’ve got a rat to show you”
Heya! I really like your artstyle! Can you draw a shiny sneasel wearing a shell bell necklace enjoying the company of a mightyena that wears a focus sash?
Thank you so much for the compliment! It really means a lot!
Been itching to draw some more Pokemon recently, so thank you for the excuse for me to!
I interrupt this broadcast to bring you Shedinga wearing a focus sash.
K thnx, bye
[I drew this so pls no steal]
Pokemon Card of the Day #1925: Focus Sash (Furious Fists)
Focus Sash was one of those cards that only had use in very specific scenarios. It was a Pokemon Tool that only worked when attached to a Fighting-type Pokemon that had full HP. If it was, and the Pokemon would be Knocked Out by damage from an opponent’s attack, the Pokemon was not Knocked Out and the remaining HP was 10 instead. Focus Sash was then discarded.
While it was very limited in its use, Focus Sash made its way into a fair number of decks running Fighting-type Pokemon. Being able to take a single hit from an opponent that had a powerful Pokemon ready to strike was huge, as it could mean getting off a crucial extra attack. Hawlucha was an especially nice user of it since it already had low HP and was meant to go up against Pokemon-EX. Any Fighting-type could make use of it in a few games, however, and even some decks based around the bulky Primal Groudon-EX used this for the safety in otherwise dangerous match-ups.
Darmanitan! Use Icicle crash!
The description is copied from deviantART. Do not remove my watermark, please! I made this picture to test out Fire Alpaca, and it's a cool program! Easy to use and it's free too. I think I'll stick to SAI for now though. The Rattata here is meant to be Roy, and originally it was just going to be a simple doodle of him, but I got a bit carried away. He's missing his signature scarf, but he's got a Focus sash to make up for it. He also still has his whiskers on his cheeks, something I've decided to make his defining physical feature in my style (the Rattata on the cover for chapter one of P:AW has them on her muzzle). Some of you have probably already made the connection to the FEAR strategy with this image, and while it's easy to counter and very transparent nowadays due to its infamy, there's really something special about just how clever it really is, and I think it fits Roy very well. Here he's been torn down and beaten, but he's more than ready to make a final stand, always willing to get back up at least one more time, determined not to lose the fight. It's when he's at his weakest that his potential is at its highest. The background here was going to be Starf Island's northwestern mountain range, but it came out more like a desert. At least it still looks nice lol
Saitama vs Wobbuffet:
When and unstoppable force meats an immovable object.
Saitama from one punch basically one-hit KO’s EVERYONE. In contrast, Wobbuffet has one of the highest HP and Defense stats in Pokemon, and with the move “counter” can deal double the damage an opponent deals to it. You could argue that Saitama would still be able to one-hit KO a wobbuffet…BUT! If wobbuffet had an in game item called the “focus sash” it allows any pokemon to survive a potential KO with 1 hp left. Meaning probable complete destruction of earth, if “counter” is used against Saitama.
Shout out to my best buddy Alex for giving me this idea to work off of.
