Just a quick tangent, and then back to the imagines:

A few weeks ago someone DMed me asking if it was okay to still have a crush on Pink Diamond after what she did. That question really made me think and I wondered if anyone else felt guilty for liking Pink Diamond. So that’s why I’m making this post.

Listen, it’s okay to like morally gray characters! It’s okay to like characters who’ve done bad things! It’s okay to like villains, too! It’s also okay to ship yourself with said characters!

I ship myself with characters who’ve done worse things. Characters whom the fandom has dubbed unredeemable(even if they aren’t).

And that’s okay!!!! Because they aren’t, and never will be, real! No matter what a character does, they will never hurt a real person with their actions. And shipping yourself with said character does not mean you condone their actions either!

Tumblr fandom often forgets that.

So if anyone tells you you can’t ship yourself with x character because “they did a bad thing”? Ignore them. Screw purity culture.

The beauty of fiction and self shipping is that you’re in control of every situation. There are no limits on what you can and cannot do. Real life does not give you that ability. So go wild with it!

Skype Drabble request

Sithking Zero: Daring Do/Ahuizotl, "things you said when you thought i was asleep"

She was curled up, her hoof still anchored to the floor of the cell. Once again, the fiendish Ahuizotl had captured her and intended to use a precious and lost artifact for evil uses. But Daring was close to a solution to this problem. She just needed a bit longer.

Daring heard the massive stone door to her prison open, followed by the stomp of Ahuizotl’s approach. She kept her eyes shut, pretending to sleep. She took slow, easy breaths. Her enemy stopped beside her sleeping form. Was he going to be that cowardly? To attack her while she ‘slept?’

“Still sleeping, Daring Do?” she heard him say. His deep voice sent a shudder along her spine. she heard hm move, and felt his breath against her ear. “Rest while you can, Daring. When you wake, you wil have no such peace.”

It took all of Daring’s patience not to turn and try to buck her hooves against his face, or head-butt him. Suddenly, she felt somenthing soft move up to her chin and swish against her. Was that.. His tail?

“It is a pity,” he whispered  to her. “You are such a lovely, brilliant mare. We could have worked very well together.” His tail stopped caressing her neck and chin, and Ahuizotl walked away, exiting the cell and leaving her alone once more.

Daring opened her maagenta eyes, looked at the door, and started searching the cell. Her heart was pounding so loud in her chest she could hear it in her ears. Her cheeks were hot from the quick rush of blood to them. That was the last straw. She had to get out of here before she started feeling more... confused.
