If it's a public work, then quite simply? The creator does not own or have a right to police the fandom. And that's something they're going to have to learn to accept whether they like it or not. They revoked that right when they made their work public. The only thing that would make you a bad person is if you showed the creators the ships. Leave them alone, but also... they need to leave the fandom alone lol. ❤️🙃

I know it's not popular, but I love Orla x Mollie!

Their colors are pleasant to see together and their personality match a bit, I can see the 'talks a lot X listens' trope. Orla is really emotional and Mollie is the stoic one, they balance each other a lot

I wish for more interaction of them, but I'm afraid they wouldn't show it besides them being close in the background. And that's sad, because I feel like they don't show much interactions between the adult members of the RVT together when Friede isn't around

Ship Positivity for Luis Serra and Leon Kennedy (Resident Evil) in a BloodyMary AU

I will start by saying I don't know very much about any of these media, but I really need to sit down and see both PHM and Iron Lung. They both look amazing and I want to see the hype behind this ship. Popular cross-ships are always fun because it's always up to interpretation.

Leon and Luis are already good looking together, and their unlikely allyship only adds to their ship. Plus, the slight distrust making for a little bit of enemies to lovers feels even better.

Bringing it into the worlds of PHM or Iron Lung would make that so much better. Whether taking the personalities of Grace and Simon or keeping their own. They'd have to work together and with Rocky, and there might be tension before they truly can trust each other.

I would love to see all of the stages of their relationship develop, would it be quicker since they're the only two humans, in either scenario? Would they still be stubborn and not admit to any sort of feelings? There's probably very little privacy, so any needs that need fulfilled would be, maybe, heard by the other party? Maybe joined in, in ways?

I do think these two make for an amazing ship, and their personalities seem to fit very well into the dire situations that Grace and Simon are in. While they might not be as meek as Grace seems to be, and Leon doesn't 100% fit Simon's past and tendencies, I feel that makes it all the more interesting.

Tbh, Desamber deserves WAY more love than it gets. These two are genuinely adorable together, and the dynamic between them is so rich and sweet it practically writes itself.

Desmond is the shy, bookish prince who’s scared of… well, everything! But the moment Amber asks him to do something? He’s suddenly brave enough to run through a field of geysers, stand in as a living mannequin, or take on challenges he normally wouldn’t even consider. He faces his fears for her. And half the time, you can catch him in the background smiling dreamily at her — meanwhile Amber is completely oblivious to how smitten he is.

It’s such a wholesome slow-burn dynamic:

• Amber helps Desmond become more confident and bold.

• Desmond helps Amber become more sincere and grounded.

They balance each other in the sweetest way.

I absolutely love Hugfia — it’s a fantastic ship and deserves the love it gets! ❤️ But sometimes the fandom focuses on it so much that other amazing ships don’t get a chance to shine. If you search Hugfia, you get endless fanart. If you search Desamber, you only find just a few content made by just two or three dedicated fans.

Not saying that they’re underrated and no one knows about them, just that it’s hard to find fan-made art and content on them vs several popular ones since all of the work goes into only popular ship! There’s SO much potential in ships like Desamber, Zandegard, and others, and I’d love to see the fandom explore those relationships more. Not instead of Hugfia — but alongside it. Let’s give these underrated ships a little room to bloom too. 🌸✨

Ah, one of the more popular f/f ships out there! Let's talk about that, shall we?

The dynamic between Tenko and Himiko is that of a sunny day and a gloomy rainstorm. Himiko is a character that showcases a lot of symptoms of depression (which are often attributed to her "laziness") and while Tenko isn't undamaged herself, she's a beacon of almost blindingly bright hope to Himiko. To move forward and express your big emotions without a care in the world, to see the sunny days, to express a childlike wonder despite having grown older--those are things Himiko admires about Tenko, I think. She is inspired by Tenko to move forward with her life, and to find joy and happiness within it, despite the horrible feelings Himiko has been facing.

What I personally like about this ship: it has that "opposites attract" vibe, as I stated earlier with Himiko having depression and Tenko being this energetic ray of sunshine. I think having a positive influence on your life when you're in your darkest moment is really good for the soul. I love how Tenko enthusiastically cheers Himiko on, even when Himiko couldn't see it for herself. Sometimes when you're at your lowest, such positivity can feel harsh or even painful and uncomfortable. I imagine when Himiko learns to love herself a little more, that Tenko's love for her will shine the brightest--and it will be a welcomed, relieving thing.
