#4, #7, and #11 (love these kinda memes)
4. Is your muse an optimist or a pessimist and how does this influence their choices?
The type of optimist who thinks they can fix just about anything or die trying. They don’t fail to acknowledge that the world is unfair, and it really sucks sometimes, but they keep themself going by believing that the small steps they take to make the world suck less make a difference. Very stereotypical protagonist, very stereotypically leads to overextension, lack of self-care, possible disillusionment in the face of failure.
7. What does your muse get out of relationships (be it friend, family, or significant other)? Do they find it energizing or exhausting to keep up with?
Close relationships were pretty foreign to Souji prior to coming to Inaba, so they dive in a little too deep once the form the Investigation Team. They got a huge amount of energy from all of their new friendships at first, but as responsibilities and stresses piled on keeping up with everyone started becoming...almost like a chore. The admiration that their friends and classmates seem to hold for them is both a source of pride and discomfort - having any sort of reputation, even a positive one, provides a bit of pressure.
11. What are your muse’s thoughts on race? Are they biased/racist? Are they aware of discrimination; do they participate in it or do they ignore it? Are they discriminated against?
This is...kinda hard to answer since I’m a white kid living in the Northeastern U.S. and I’m pretty uneducated when it comes to racial dynamics in Japan, but much more generally Souji tries to judge based on character rather than appearance? They also have a strong sense of justice and try to stand up for other people when they can.
