Hey! I haven't been able to find a term to describe some of our headmates, so we wanted to coin one:
A fogwalker is a type of blend that has inconsistent components. For example, HM is a blend of two headmates — one from each of two categories (these categories may be a big and a little, a protector and their charge, or anything else.)
Any blend of one Type A headmate and one Type B headmate will result in HM; depending in the system &/or components, HM may appear slightly different, but they're still recognizable.
This term could also apply if there are restrictions within the groups (such as, only Protector A and Charge A1 or Charge A2, or Protector B and Charge B, can blend to become HM,) if there are more than two component members, or is the components are fragments, facets, segments, or another kind of less-developed headmate.
If the number of components is fluid (such as if they can have 2-6 components, or any amount as long as they "balance out" in some way,) they could call themself a fogwalker, or a flux-fogwalker.
We’re so sorry! This sat in our inbox forever and kept disappearing, we want to go ahead and post it while it’s still here.
