A new sub-area of the "Far Plains" area has been discovered. The entities known as "striders" and "kytes" are some of the few discovered entities that coexist in certain areas. There are no known intentional interactions between the two entity types as of yet.

This was actually my third attempt at drawing Kyte, as I got far enough in two other attempts to like the lineart enough, before choosing to give up and quit because I didn’t like them enough… ;-.-

I ended up with a very simple final product, but I like it! I may post just Kyte without the background later…it won’t be tagged or anything though （＾ω＾）

Description

The overcast sky, neglected buildings, and fallen monuments in Connecticut Autumn create an eerie landscape that evokes the poverty and despair of the 1930s. The young boy flying a kite appears full of hope and innocence, but a closer look reveals that his kite string crosses the power lines. The statue of an angel underscores the imminent tragedy, as he beckons to the boy from the monument yard.
