Since I've just finished watching the new tri movie, here's a quickly drawn Fokkomon.

Fokkomon is a mâle fox Digimon based on Fennekin the Pokémon. He's cheerful and protective of his partner, but despite his boyish attitude, he's often mistaken for a girl and gets annoyed about this. When he's excited, fire comes out of his tail. He can stand on his back feet.

Fokkomon is my character's Digimon, obviously based on Fennekin the Pokemon. Cause why not xD I just love Fokko so muchhhhh, I had to give my character a Digimon version of him~ !

Last week I saw Digimon Adventure Tri. Saikai in the theater, in Osaka, with my friends Erin and Pierre, and gosh, it was a wonderful moment for so many reasons. Being in Japan with my friends, sharing it with them, seeing a Digimon movie, THAT movie, in a theater, in Japan. That’s a dream coming true, a dream I didn’t even know I had before last year xD I am so thankful. I loved the movie, seeing them all again... All grown up ! It felt very... special.

I also want to say that Meicoomon really touched me... she reminded me a LOT of a Digimon I made years ago, Mitamon, who was inspired by my cat, Mitani, after he disappeared.  (You can see Mitamon here http://www.deviantart.com/tag/mitamon )

Anyway. My “Digimon self” (yes cause I’m a lame oc maker) have been around since some times, with Fokkomon (cause I love my Fokko soo...), and her story is in Digimon Adventure. So I had to draw a “tri” version of her.  (Minor spoilers on tri if you keep reading, but... yeah, not much.)

I see her as a confident, someone you can talk to, and she tries to help. As they grow up and some friends get awkward romantic feelings (looking at you Koushiro), she would support them and give them advice and be... yeah, supportive ! (I was really hoping for Koumi ! And KJSHFJHDF it was CUTE.) She’s always been close to Taichi, so I was also wondering what she thought of Yamato/Sora. She’d be torn between opposite feelings. (No, she has no love interest, what I mean is that she wants her friends to be happy (joy is her crest) and this situation does not make everyone happy :(( well, it’s still not clear in tri but I’m mostly thinking about Bokura no War Game and 02.)

So yeah ! That’s Drew and Fokkomon. Fokkomon is a boy, by the way, like Fokko xD I know he looks like a girl here lol xD
