Modeled after traditional Japanese folding fans, these plastic folding fans are a great way to cool off on a hot summer day. Each fan measures 9-in. tall and unfolds to measure 17-in. wide. The plasti
I have a problem with humidity. Normally in the desert, this isn’t a problem. But if I’m in a building with little to no airflow, or if it’s monsoon season in Arizona, I overheat pretty quickly and start feeling slimy-sweaty and gross. I’ve wanted to find a foldable fan to stick in my purse for a while, and I found these at Dollar Tree a few weeks ago.
They are perfect. And just $1 each. I actually picked up two, one with purple sequins and one with silver sequins which isn’t in the picture. They fit in my purse with ease, and there’s a little metal loop at the base that I thought about attaching to a caribiner to hook onto my purse strap.
They create a nice wind, which helps your sweat do what it’s supposed to do, evaporate and cool you off.
They also have Brightly-Colored Folding Fans with Glitter, which come in orange, purple, pink, blue, black, and green, in case you want something more stand-out.
Given that it’s Dollar Tree, you may have to inspect the fans to make sure none of the plastic parts are broken, and to make sure there’s not too much excess glue on the fabric.
They’re a great way to keep cool, plus you can act out Princess Diaries scenes if you’re so inclined.
