The funny little birds of Pokemon Sage
Pokemon Sage nuzlocke - Pt.5
So I’m feeling a little disheartened. I’m down to just two pokemon, and Shetland has proven to be a little fragile. But there’s a new patch of grass ahead, and that blocked off area of Downward Cave is open.
This is where we bend the rules a little. That area of Downward Cave isn’t a new area. But it has its own encounter table, with a couple of new pokemon, and at different levels to the rest of the cave. It’s a stretch, but after Foster, I need new blood.
I wish I could leave Quaver Town behind me completely, but there’s nowhere else to heal my team, so I have to make frequent visits. As I work my way along Route 3, Pickle evolves!
He’s a rock type Pyroat now! The resistance to normal and flying type moves is greatly appreciated.
I clear out Route 3, get everyone up to level 16 or 17, and then check out the Dreamderry Ranch. Unfortunately, I KO the Mursberry I find there. I wasn’t all that interested in it for the team, but we needed the numbers, and ticking it off the list would have made it easier to catch better pokemon in the upcoming forest.
It’s night-time in game, and there doesn’t seem to be much going on in the ranch, so I head onwards to the Rustling Forest.
One last challenge before we get in there though.
Simon appears with a new starter and a new team to back it up. Mycelium paralyses the first thing he sends out, sets up with Growth, and sweeps the team with Acid. That’s more like it!
Hey! If I made Pokemon Sage charms for about $10.00, would anyone be interested in buying them?
