While I agree with the sentiments of this video, I don't think ignoring or not caring what WotC does with DND is good idea. Even if you don't care about WotC's DND, WotC cares about you. People who are not playing DND 5e are not buying their products, and are not interested in the other stuff that they make related to DND. And even if its nothing to do with not being a customer, there is also how WotC can effect the perception of DND and TTRPGs as a hobby. They want more customers and WotC aren't above trying to undercut compition no matter how small and niche. I don't want DND to be represented by a greedy corperation, so I suggest that the folk DND community keep an eye on WotC's actions. Any alienation that WotC creates can allow the Folk DND community to grow with people who's don't like their practices. Plus letting more people know that they don't need WotC for content and that there is a community that can help them is great and should be encouraged.
