folk musicians: so this is my instrument, its a runkeharpa, there are only five of these in existence, all made by this one farmer 500 years ago. now i am going to play and sing a song from the middle ages that will get stuck in your head for a year to come

Den fagraste rosa er funni (The fairest rose has been found) is a traditional Norwegian psalm. The tone originates from Trysil in Hedmark fylke, and the text is by H.A. Brorson, translated by Elias Blix. This is from a live performance in 2002. This is usually played and performed during winter.
