Peanutsrune (called Folkstale in-universe instead of deltarune or peanutsrune)

Folkstale is a Peanuts Deltarune AU. I got into Peanuts as a Deltarune fan, saw this image on Reddit,

and went insane. After all, it was perfect. Deltarune was MADE for AUs. With UT AUs, you need to think about why everyone's trying to kill the main character in the first place, which is usually a big plot hole. With Deltarune, as long as you only replace mainly Lightners, you're pretty good to go. On top of this, it was Peanuts. I had like 50+ years' worth of content to use to make sure every role fit well. I decided to think. Who should be who? Charlie Brown being Kris was necessary, because they both had a stripe on their clothes. And are both main characters. Charlie Brown isn't a fraud like Kris Dreemurr is, but the replacement stays put. Obviously, this means John Asriel is Sally. I looked at this, and thought, "I can't have Lucy be Susie, and Linus be Ralsei! Ralsei's supposed to be a weird mirror of Kris's sibling, and Linus isn't a mirror of Sally at all! And Lucy at first glance works well, but the problem is, Susie, as we know so far, doesn't have sibiings!" So i changed it and went with what worked best for me.

Susie's stand-in was now Peppermint Patty. I figured she worked best and felt the most like Susie Gaster. Ralsei was a bit tough to think of, but Ralsei's pretty gay, and breaks the fourth wall, and Schroeder's pretty gay, and ALSO breaks the fourth wall. Also, I needed someone with a good rep of not being too mean.

So Schroeder seemed like a great pick. However, his name was too different from being an anagram of "Sally", so I needed to change it to "Sylas" Now, the main trio stand-ins, the Fun Gang replacements, were thought out. Good. Now I had to think of other main-y characters in Deltarune. First came Noelle. Guess. Take a wild guess who Noelle is. She's Marcie, of course. It's only natural. Plus, she has strict parents like Noelle does, so it fits even more. Also, Marcie has no siblings, which makes it harder for well-read Peanuts fans to guess who the Roaring Knight is.

(Side Note, I was tempted to make Marcie replace Kris instead of Charlie Brown, since her eyes are hidden like Kris's. However, I knew deep in my heart Sally could never be the Knight, so I decided that it was fine that Charlie Brown was NOT Kris, and was allowed to be expressive, despite replacing them.)

After Marcie, instead of thinking about other main-ish characters, I got caught up in the big aura farmers for a while, but then I finished thinking about them. Next comes Catti. I decided to make her Lucy, and replace Catty (older purple one) with Linus. Whatever you think of it, I basically had to do this. I can't just make Lucy NOT someone that knows Charlie Brown by making her Burgerpants or something, and it seems to fit Lucy well enough. I almost made Linus replace Jockington, but I decided against it in the end, and made him Frieda. Catti's mom is Lucy's mom, and Catti's dad is... Rerun. What happened to Lucy's dad? Who knows. Maybe he's out of town. Whatever. After the strange lack of Rerun in the Peanuts Movie and new Apple specials, I can't let him be left in the dust again. Thinking of Berdly after was pretty difficult. I thought of Joe Richkid first, since he's met Marcie and Peppermint Patty before, but i decided I couldn't use him. After all he has barely any dialogue/appearances compared to everybody else. Then I realized that Berdly likes Susie, and the only other one to like Peppermint Patty besides possibly Marcie and Chuck were Pig-Pen. Sure, he might not talk to Marcie very much in the comics and specials, but I can work around that. Plus, it's not like he has any pesky siblings I need to account for. That's almost all the replacements I have for now. I WILL be making more. I personally feel like my ideas are great, but what is an AU at all, without art? With the help of @skyhopper905, the one who made the image responsible for making me insane, I made art for a lot of the replacements I have right now. More art will be created. The end, best-possible-result goal for this is for it to be made into a full game. But that is basically impossible, so I'm making art and finishing ideas for now. I'll try to cross the music and game making bridge when I come to it. I hope you like the AU!
