SOLS: Chapter 9 is ready!

Enjoy a snippet:

Nodding, she moved to inspect the wound. Stable enough, she turned to him.

"We should be able to get you to the couch, at least."

"I'll take it. Anything's softer than this."

Slowly, she helped him get to a seated position on the side of the table, his feet dangling off the edge. There was some mild cussing as she tried to keep his wounded shoulder and arm immobile. His head lolled slightly, as the blood drained from it upon sitting upright, but it was mild enough, that between the two of them, they were able to keep him sitting. Using her as a support, Qrow slid off the table and slowly moved towards the couch.

Arm around his waist, she was unable to easily counter balance his shifting weight as he moved to sit, and she crashed on to him, her face a breath away from him. A soft chuckle escaped him, and her cheeks pinked as her own lips pulled into a soft smile.

Thoughts discordant, her smile fell away, and as through a haze, she watched his smile, the way his face lit up, and she wanted nothing more than to kiss him, kiss him one more time before he hated her. Kiss him before she lost him again to her own foolishness.

So she did.
