Arghhh somebody rec me a good way to make a handwriting font

I've tried two different sites so far, one tried to charge me at the last step and the other made a super-pixelated mess. The free program I downloaded wouldn't even open :( AYUDAME. You lovelies always have such good suggestions when I need help. <3
