Below our Angel Christmas Tree that I posted yesterday are quilts with a Jerusalem Nativity Village. This is a Fontanini Nativity with plastic figurines. Their faces are hand painted in Italy. 👩‍👧 As a child my mother had a small elegant plastic nativity set. Every Christmas she would allow me to set it up then I would arrange and rearrange it every day. Oh how I loved to touch baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph & the animals. 👶 As an adult, I found the Fontanini brand and so my children could have similar memories. I collected the 5 inch pieces over the years so I could have a Jerusalem Village. You can buy them in many sizes all the way to 5 feet tall. 🇮🇹 Each time my husband & I traveled to Italy, I always made sure to get more as they were less expensive there. ⏳ As I mentioned in yesterday's post, the quilts the nativity is displayed on are Cream with one being a baby blanket I made for my youngest son and the other a gift to my mother 19 years ago. 🕰 This is a special item I pull out every year. What holiday items do you have bringing you fond memories that you love to share with your loved ones? Handmade stockings, recipes, ornament, etc.. 🕯 Please mention them below.
