Seems like Patch's font is Amatic SC while Fatal's is...well....Also what is Towne's font?

Patch’s font is called Valentine Things, which I got from dafont (I didn’t actually want to use the Papyrus font for a couple of reasons, mainly being that the typeface is so thin and doesn’t stand out as much as I’d like it to). Fatal’s font is called OCR A Std, which comes with Photoshop/Adobe. And Towne uses the same font as Fatal.

And while I’m at it, for those curious:

G!Flowey uses a font called Fluoxetine, Ink uses Faraco Hand, and both Error and Blue use a font called Taylor Swift Handwriting, lol. All of those came from dafont as well.

All other sans and Papyruses we’ve seen so far have used their namesake fonts for the most part, I’m sure I’m forgetting an exception or two at this point.

Right, well it is no secret whatsoever that I love fonts, but today was the first time I messed about in creating my own. This was mainly to circumvent the inevitable mistakes I would make in writing out the whole Tale of Tinúviel in calligraphy, but font–making spiralled into something actually kind of successful.

Used the amazing tool Calligraphr, which, if you don't know it, allows you to handwrite letters into printed boxes, and then upload and edit them on their platform, and so I tried this with my recent attempts at calligraphy. A couple of hours of "which a looks better?" and "why can I not write x's and q's" got me to this:

Isn't that just neat! Certainly the font can do with improvement, but the sheer ease of this process!! The pleasing results, despite my very novice bumbling! I am so very pleased. Also, since the platform allows you to replace letters as and when, there's the golden opportunity to go back and edit it once I have mastered other letters (like capital letters. I have no clue how to do an A!). Guess how I'm spending the rest of my week; it's all better and better with this.

Hey! You must get this a lot, but I'm desperate tbh. But do you have any idea where I could download the fonts like aura blue, featherly, fonts like that or similar like them for free?? I'm only seeing them to download for 15$ and I love the fonts but I don't want to spend 30$ for them lol

Font Squirrel

Behance seems to have some beautiful handwritten fonts similar to Aura Blue/Featherly/etc. right on the first page, since handwritten and brush fonts are very popular right now. On the other free sites, you’d probably want to check out the “handwritten” or “calligraphy” sections. You could also check out the fonts tag here, @yourfonts on Tumblr, etc.

In addition, if you join Creative Market--one of the markets where Aura Blue and Featherly are sold--they actually have a service that sends you 6 free goods every Monday, and fonts are often included, especially handwritten fonts (again, since they’re super popular atm).
