Dire Mangiare Progettare is a project that implements a co-design process involving primary school classes and designers residing in the area of Milan, Varese, Monza and Brianza, which will happen from January to June 2017. It is a project organized by cure, creativity for urban and rural empowerment, Associazione Amici Casa della Carità ONLUS e Milan Center for Food Law and Policy.

During the workshops, the children will have the possibility to express their ideas and to become co-authors of a project of a reinvention of a school space.The main focus of the project is to innovate the school canteen experience and to reinterpret its environment through a participative process for redesign of the furniture and objects usually found therein. The realized projects will be developed into prototypes at The Fablab. The entire project is strongly supported by Camst - La Ristorazione Italiana, which at the conclusion, will propose the most interesting ideas to companies and design manufacturers to consider them for production.

For the selection of designers and school classes there is an open call (link for designers) till November 28.
