I’m here to be one of the SING supporters!! I love that song. I love that it sounds like there’s impending danger, but there’s a call to arms regardless! A grim sort of feeling with a touch of hopeful rebellion! It’s sung like the singer knows that they or a lot of their army they sing toward won’t make it back — but it’s a choice that has to be made for the sake of their message! But the vibes are exquisite, and I love the dread, like a crumbling car hitting the gas toward a barricade. (◡‿◡✿) yes ok the music video is perfect for this song I stand by all of it
Yes! I honestly never saw it as a song of impending danger, but with the music video especially, that does make sense! I honestly just love how uplifting and motivational the song is personally. I know that meaning is definitely in your face more then the rebellion and the dread meaning, but I LOVE your take on it! It does make sense to me and honestly makes me love the song even more! :)
