Alright so hear me out. In a Pokémon AU here’s what I think the triumvirate has and why. Mainly thinking of AOS, but it might work for TOS, too.

Jim: A Solrock for his sunny disposition and emotional awareness. A Jolteon, pretty self-explanatory, I think. Jim has lots of energy and can be easily upset. Last pick is a Lucario, who is said to have an innate sense of justice, which I think matches Jim pretty well.

Spock: My picks might be slightly controversial, but here goes: Lunatone to complement Jim’s Solrock. It’s the slightly creepier/misunderstood of the pair. Next up is a Wailmer for perfectly logical reasons. Last one is Hattrem—who becomes extremely aggressive in the presence of strong emotion. I think it’s a fitting explanation for Spock’s strict emotional control in this context.

Bones: Snubull—grumpy exterior, but soft inside. Enough said. Next is Meganium, whose breath can revive plants and whose scent calms aggression. This is the only reason Spock’s Hattrem hasn’t killed Jim, yet. I went back and forth on the last Pokemon, but finally settled on Drakloak, because it’s a parental Pokemon always looking after its Dreepy and deeply upset when it’s missing. Though, depending on how dark you want to get, you could sub it for a Phantump that may or may not be Joanna

Anyways, do with that what you will. Would love to hear other opinions.

The loss of Omegle is very impactful for me, who enjoyed almost a decade of roleplaying on there from my cringe high school days to now on the cusp of 30 years old.

Anyways, looks like I’m taking permanent sanctuary in discord going forward. If anyone is interested in roleplaying any of the following just hit me up here or my discord: justagoldfish

Love plotting, sharing memes, and actually being friends instead of just roleplay partners, but if you’re more detached that’s fine, too.

I typically write about three to four paragraphs for replies, but I try to adapt to my partner’s writing style. Though third person only please. If you write more or less don’t be afraid to reach out as long as you are 18+ (I am 27).

Open to just about anything, but I do prefer some good hurt/comfort and angst. All in balance, of course.
