I'll try and post at some point, and I think I've mentioned it before, but I think it was in city's treble documentary Pep mentioned the difference in his approach between the CL final against Chelsea, versus against Inter.
I don't want to paraphrase and then be wrong but essentially he was quite harsh against chelsea and he realised that hadn't helped, and instead opted for a softer approach at half time against Inter.
Might just be a product of the result he gained both times and I'm sure there have been many other teams who have benefited from a firmer hand but I think empathy is effective.
