Are you maybe a bit late on your october challenges? Are you perhaps still searching a list to do? Or by chance you want to draw copious amounts of wings but never find the right moment to? ^_^

In any case—MEET. WINGSTOBER!! Starting on this 6th, all about wings!

go check my tutorial liked on my pinned if you need a refreshed about how to do feathered wings, and im pretty sure Somewhere i got a good tutorial by someone else about webbed wing, and!! i'm gonna spend the next few days doing Nothing but tag this blog back on the posts i've missed, so if you need a specific reference it'll be easier to find! (and i might not get to tag Every single post, but i wanna do a majority!!)

i'll see yall in a few days then... or not! i did this mainly for myself, but i would love for more people to join in :3c feed my autism.

i adore your tutorial sooooo very much (have had it in my drafts for probably a year or so trying to write tags without rambling too much), thank you for taking the time to make something so comprehensive and sharing your wings passion with us!! i'm glad if you're enjoying some of the wings in my own work! it's an honour! 💖💖💖

also i feel like i should apologise to your followers who don't know anything about kirby and they're having to see my art BUT.... as a wings enjoyer myself, one of the biggest draws of these guys is that they're basically all wings!! so you can just jump straight to the good stuff. draw super cool wings on a circle and call it a day 😂😂

and well. as said, the autism knows no limits, n yes i kinda took. a few years to do the original tutorial, i was Not in a good mental state back then. the goop of the human condition.... like i was just Set to do it right and prove myself that i can do these kind of things, but that spiraled Badly, and honestly, in between all the emotional sourced fog i realized things this long and well done many times are not made alone. as in i didnt fully did this just by myself, if you count friends who let me bounce ideas with them, correct spelling n test my findings alongside just. the constant support in general. i still feel like i didnt credit them enough even after all of that, more so since this tutorial means so much to me

n like, dont get my wrong, a Big portion of it is my own need of teaching to others things that i do know well and also my. pettiness + pickiness, the only reason im not a full on hater is bc i cant help still finding good in all the little things, see what was done right, see how to push art of wings in a better direction depending on the wants of the artist. but i fr would've given up ages ago if the very first draft hadn't got that one response back then

but yeah, honestly the moment i realized you were a Fellow Wing Enthusiast, i kinda ran to your blog to sniff out some wings and bring them here. i do that with a lot of artists actually, but even then, i kid u not my queue has to be set to 2 post per day or else it runs out immediately, im starving down here from wingies that get my attention... which is kinda why im thinking abt doing a second edition and advertise it on yt

reason one, bc the mistakes of my first edition Haunt Me ._. i had to resume A Lot of info, it drives me Insane and i Will explode thinking abt all the other things i would've added, but also if i didnt resume it, it was never gonna get posted. i mean, i had to cut the Entirety of the part of my drafts that talked abt the movement, The most important part of wings

...which leads to the second reason, the one that gives me the full excuse to do the second edition, add All the shit i was thinking abt and make it a pdf to not be held back by the damned image limit 💥

like this thing is gonna be Long 👏 Three times as detailed 👏 with two languages available and!! ☝ partially animated. and i say partially bc the kinda ad i was thinking for yt might stop in some things of the pdf to explain them even More, and yknow, for the part abt movement it would fit kinda right for the wing to move isnt it :o (and well, since i wanna put it on itch.io too to maybe also get some money from it, i want it to be a thing of Quality, more so since it might reach an even bigger audience. i want it to be at least 90% correct so my brain can Rest and not feel like i need a 3rd edition-)

see! nothing wrong abt rambling. is fun, is healthy, is nice, nothing to worry abt tell me your secrets- *gets dragged out of the stage with one of those funny hooks*

,, maybe. instead of parts, i should make editions of the wing tutorial

because i keep thinking bc is Movement next for the second part, a thing tricky as it is with so many parts to coordinate at once, to the point i legit in my og notes called it the Behemoth of the tutorial—Technically, video format would work best, animating the wings, pointing at the important bits in the moment, and going over the first part but Better at that point...

but that'd mean using my voice, mot probably... and having a good video editing program, along side a... better pc to store n handle the whole thing...

sighhh and i Still need to translate my own tutorial, but the little typos here and there keep bothering me, which is probably why is the reason im procrastinating on that...

that. actually would leave me the space to also go more in-dept like i wanted before, in each and every little thing and topic. the problem with the first time was just that i didnt have a direction or a goal on how much or how little i Needed to show. besides. having too much to chew, perhaps...
