ohhhhh man. man. if youre looking for something to read and you have the stomach for it, tell me im worthless by alison rumfitt was really, really good. definitely upsetting and visceral and striking, it would be hard for me to give a synopsis. its a horror story about fascism and hate and the ways we become things we are or arent. its a haunted house story, its a story of haunting, its about the modern horror of the trans experience, its so soooo good. cannot stress enough to take the trigger warning inside the book seriously, including transphobia, homophobia, antisemitism, racism, self harm and suicide, on top of gore and psychological horror themes
