So he got them during a—let's say—crossroads of destiny *wink wink*#Those are his shame tattoos. He's terribly embarrassed by them so the Gaang tease him about them. (He's secretly very proud of them tho)#It's all about the duality inherent to fire (and himself!) as well as protection.#The red dragon has his back at all times. It protects Zuko from his past—from everything that he has left behind and is walking away from.#The Blue dragon guards him front unknown threats. It curls over his left arm (his most vulnerable side) and rests its head over Zuko's heart #It's all very symbolic #Zuko loves his tattoos but is also embarrassed and ashamed of how he got them. He was in a very bad place at the time.#If he got the chance to get his tattoos done *now*—he probably wouldn't do it.#He wouldn't change a thing tho. They're part of who he is. A reminder of who he was.#Also they're kinda hot #So that helps #Also...I forgot to draw the blue dragon's body on the back of his shoulder so... You don’t know me I don’t think but can I still ask? I love reading about people’s writing projects! First and POV!

YES OHMYGOSH I LOVE NEW FRIENDS (if you ask about my wip you’re automatically my friend i don’t make the rules)

First two sentences:

The sky looked like it was raining blood. Deep red carnage seeped across the clouds like too much blush smeared over blanched cheeks, and Lillian was in the forest, a basket swinging against her hip.

POV:

Alastor wasn’t surprised she came back. He could see the residue of magic hanging off of her like a fine mist from the first, so it only made sense she would feel drawn to him. Like calls to like. Which worked out just perfectly for Alastor, since it seemed this girl was either the key to exactly what he was after—or something new entirely.

“You’re here,” she said, breathless and awing.

Alastor almost laughed at the contrast she struck to him, but he reminded himself he had to proceed with caution. “You sound surprised. I think I deserve to be the surprised one here.”

He didn’t, not at all, but she had no way of knowing that.

The girl shifted impatiently. “You’re the outlaw.”

This time he couldn’t help but smile. “And you covered for me. Why?”

And that’s when she froze up.
