you gonna eat those chocolates?
I suppose I should. But they are a gift and I do not want to waste them.

I forgot to post this story! So it's pretty common knowledge amongst my students that I also work at Gamestop. A student of mine (that makes almost straight 100s) asked me the other day to make a bet: if he scored well on the next test, I should get him a Gamestop gift card. I told him that I didn't feel like taking that particular wager for two reasons: A) he was going to do well, and B) that's like, actual money. He laughed and was like "oh man, why should I pass this test then?" And I said "I don't know man, I guess you should just fail it then" So a couple days later I brought him a Gamestop gift card envelop thing - the kind that the gift card is folded in. He was like "oh man, thank you SO MUCH, you didn't have to actually do it" and I just smiled and said don't mention it, and he opened it up and on the inside where the gift card should've been, it said: "Thank you so much for doing so well on your last test :)" Amount: $lol jk And the look on his face is something I will treasure for the rest of my life
Wow. I don't know why I was so worried about that science midterm, because I'm pretty sure I just got at least a 90% on it.
