iiiiiiiii actually think wendy became obsessed with death only after abigail died, but honestly, she was probably still bullied. i imagine her very reserved and quiet before the bad stuff happened, usually preferring to stay far away from the other kids to read a book rather than socializing, even quite a crybaby, and some of them laughed at her because of it.the wrost children made fun of her and abigail as well because “haha you two are like clones, what freaks!”
