Lighting wasn’t great but I painted the different phases of the moon. Selene is on of my patrons and I wanted to make something in her honor. I’m a novice at painting but I’m happy with how this came out.

His eyes watched the woman dancing hawkishly as he sat with the other members of his business, Drew Galloway sitting where he always did in the center. However, Wade was licking his lips, his eyes only on that small woman.
“Invite her for a dance,” Drew smirked, “girls working in me club do private dances all the time.”

[She can't do this, not today. All the other days she can sit in class and make jokes and pass notes and doodle and daydream, but not today. Today she'd rather be anywhere but here. The teacher goes on about plant cells, although how that helps anyone is beyond the considerable scope of the redhead's imagination. After sliding her book silently in her bag, she slips silently out of the classroom. It might as well be forever.
Jade walks outside, looking for the cigarettes she'd hidden away in her bag from her last scavenging trip. She doesn't usually smoke, but it's better than wasting her time in class. Holding a cigarette between her lips, she lights it with the silver lighter she'd found along with the pack of cigarettes. She inhales deeply, the smoke stopping once in her mouth, then her lungs, then spreading into her veins.
'These things'll kill you,' a familiar voice says in the back of her head. 'What doesn't,' she asked silently.]
