Selene and her favourite ball of rock
I was out with my mom the other day and the moon was orange and pretty and she said that the moon looked bashful with those clouds covering her and lowkey, the clouds did look like a veil.
I know car probably meant chariot but I’m thinking Selene pulls up in a Prius
Hello!!
May I have a moodboard for Σελήνη Παλιρροιολήκτωρ [Selḗnē Palirroiolēktōr (Selene, puller of tides)]
Thank you in advance :}
Selene Palirroiolektor (puller of tides)
☽☾queen of night☽☾
Here's a devotional piece I drew for Lady Selene <33 it's based on Bouguereau's painting titled Evening Mood, as it always reminded me of her . Hope you like it <3
I'm trying something a little different with my art , as in I'm trying to include more colors to make it pop more if that makes sense :')
Also I added stars around Lady Selene's crescent moon because she's often described as being surrounded by stars , as if they dance around her in a way .
( divider made by me <3 )
all the moonlight upon her,
all the darkness within her.

i’ve received several blessings from Selene and hold an insane amount of reverence for her in my heart. i’ve specifically venerated her as maternal to me from the start of my practice. but lately, Guan Yin has taken a very maternal role in my worship and meditation. i’ve found when i ask myself who my “heavenly mother” is my brain veers towards Guan Yin. i still look at Selene in awe, but is it “mother” or just “radiant goddess” yaknow?
i’m experiencing a bit of confliction and need to pull some tarot (this feels deserving of a ritual!). part of me wonders if the moon related blessings were from Guan Yin, or if one could have two “matrons” perse, or if i’ve been interpreting my dynamic with one or both incorrectly. most of me isn’t worried about how it turns out. ultimately i know it will be okay. spirituality and belief can be fluid, and no amount of swimming against the current changes the way the river flows.
i’d love to hear if any others have had similar experiences OR could recommend a tarot spread bc i’m at a bit of a loss of where to start
