On a completely different topic, what's the deal with Minho not getting as much support from Shawols compared to the other members for his solo music? He had a fansign today and said that he won't be able to hold more solo concerts until he has a larger fanbase.

i’m sorry you have to go through that, i’m wishing you strength & love and understanding always 🫂 and while i get the frustration and disappointment do NOTTTT put this on shawols, PLEASE. not saying this is on you in any way but having his head filled with stupid shit like ‘who’d want to listen to my music/go to my shows anyway’ is the type of thing that made taemin want to quit. there’s a reason why taemin & jinki have gone to other companies even though it gave them insane amounts of backlash even from shawols. sment is notoriously awful at promoting their older groups (and solo artists) - do you think key would’ve ever gotten a solo “world” (<- bitter european quotation marks) tour had it not been for taemin (& jinki) doing the same and showing to sment that it’s possible to get people to come to their solo shows? i mean minho’s solo mvs have comparable amounts of views and engagement to key’s and WAY more than jinki’s (examples from ~a year ago: minho’s call back has 7M, key’s pleasure shop has 8.5M, onew’s winner has barely over 2.5M and mansae doesn’t even have 1M views. guess who went on an actual proper WORLD tour of of these three). (im taking taemin out of this discussion bc he’s got a lot more solo stans plus he’s doing insane shit that no one is doing on this earth). it’s not that minho couldn’t hold concerts bc fans wouldn’t come to them, it’s that minho is sadly not managed by a company that gives half a shit about his aspirations and goals to make these things happen.
