I wanna know what like the point of those banners are that're like "(character) protects this blog."
Not disparagingly? I think this is me being on the verge of sleep talking. I just always sort of tilt my head confused at it. Like. Are you a system? Because in that case, Aziraphale does protect my blog. They can't all be systems though, right? I wonder what the point is.
IS THAT THE OLD ROSE BUSH IN MY BACK GARDEN AS YOUR TUMBLR HEADER??? i have bad news they cut it down :(
IT IS!!! I loved the picture so much. It's been that way for like... over 5 months. I really like it its so pretty.

The saga of your followers count is more entertaining than whatever’s on tv now
I was gonna say that maybe you should be watching riverdale if you think this is interesting but honestly it’s so boring right now that even I am better than it. thank you for feeding into my god complex on accident
People wanna shout about how ablist hollywood is, about the lack of casting people with disabilities for the roles that represent them..
But they don't talk about how people with said disabilities, whether physical or developmental, who end up needing supplemental security income but still are creative and have interest in the arts-- are excluded from those spaces by restrictions placed on us by the government in order to maintain those benefits.
One of the biggest examples I can think of is, if you have ssi and leave the country or state of residence for longer than a month they will terminate your benefits. And a lot of creative occupations (especially acting) involve being able to travel for months at a time.
This isn't to say that there shouldn't be more inclusive casting for proper representation, but that it's so much more complicated than just placing the blame in those creative spaces for the lack of truly inclusive casting.
