[Merry XXXMas to all who celebrate.]
Comm for [freydis_mora] on insta for a sticker design they plan to hand out at the conventions they attend.
I love getting branding commissions like these. It’s fun providing visuals for fellow creators.
Have you ever needed an outlet for your rage? Try Baking™️!
Start with 3 cups of flour in a mixing bowl (I use all purpose unbleached)
However much salt and sugar you feel with quiet the screaming, but not too much that the screaming gets worse (around a tbsp or 2)
Take a cup of liquid, toss it in the microwave for one minute and scream at it. (Or not, but get it warm) {I use sweetened vanilla almond milk because my mouth still retains a massive sweet tooth.}
Put it in a bowl and put 3 pinches, or perhaps a fist full of sugar into the warm liquid.
Take a single packet of active dry yeast and drown the bitches. Mix and stir to make sure ALL OF THEM DROWN.
Let this sit until the yeast releases foam, y'know, from drowning. Take the foamy liquid and pour it into your mixing bowl
Optional steps: add 1/3 stick of butter for smoothness in final product and a single egg to make it rise better. (Butter can be substituted for oil)
Fill a bowl with either cold or hot water and set it to the side, the same with the bleach you used.
If you have no whisk or mixer like me, take a fork and begin mixing your ingredients. Make sure to scrape the sides of the bowl to get it all.
After a little bit, it will become difficult to stir, eyeglass point, either put on rubber gloves or don't and dip your hands into the water, coating them.
Get the dough off of the fork and continue mixing by hand. Really grip that bitch as you flip that bitch in the bowl.
Knead the remaining flour into the dough ball you are forming. If it's too dry, dip your hand back in the water or sprinkle the water on the dough. Knead until it's fully integrated.
The kneading I use is squish dough with palm, pull side furthest from me up and over the side closest to me like 3-4 times before turning it 90 degrees and doing it again until satisfied. To end this, tuck the dough into a ball.
After you've finished kneading, cover bowl with a towel, a rag, or some plastic wrap, let it sit in a warm place for 30 minutes and repeat the kneading. Do this at least 4 times.
If, while your dough is left alone and becomes a puddle instead of a dough ball, instead of covering your hands in water, cover them in dough to do the kneading, if that doesn't help, add small amounts of dough, kneading them into it until it's a bit more firm.
After either your fourth time or whatever time you feel was a good amount of rising, knead the dough, then leave it in the bowl for 1 hour.
After an hour, knead one more time, take a pan or bread tin, butter the sides and bottom with enough butter to shut up the demons, but no more than that.
Sprinkle a bit of flour over the sides and bottom, then but your dough ball into the bread pan. Push down to fill the corners as evenly as you can. Lightly cover with whatever you used before for an hour. During the last 30 minutes, turn on your oven to 350°f
At the end of the hour, if your oven is fully preheated, put the bread pan into it and set alarm or timer for 25 or 26 minutes.
After taking out of the oven coat the top in butter and let it cool for however long you are willing to wait.
At the end, you SHOULD have some white bread, home made.
