Going Loopy
I've focused a lot on looping lately, these are nesting baskets looped out of dandelion flower stem (brown) and spider plant leaf (green) cordage

Miniature basket - just the right size for a shopping basket for my Feral Cheryl doll. Made with split green spider plant leaf cordage weavers and dandelion stem spokes.
Mixed fibre basket
Made with most of the cordage I made out of dead leaves I picked off various houseplants. Now I harvest them green and dry them, which makes the materials easier to work with and nicer colours as well.
Dandelion stem basket - first woven basket evar. Mistakes were made but I learned a fair bit in the process.
I found this woman who created cordage with various plant materials (from pineapple leaves and banana peels to dandelion stems and willow bark). This reminded me of you! I found these videos fascinating and next year after this winter, after the dandelions go to seed, I think I'm going to harvest dandelion stems and practice making cordage and weaving.

I'm following her! She's my favourite weaving artist, I also did the dandelion baskets inspired by her, good luck and please send pictures when you make stuff!
This really helped me figure out that you can make baskets from anything, grass, stems, corn leaves, garden plants, leek and onion stems, nettle, really anything that has any fibres in it can make a cord or a basket! It enabled me to start making baskets in my little apartment where I don't have space for the big materials.
FOLKS it's possible to make wool out of nettles oh my god?????? So cool ....I want to do this so bad
