To the black man, to my black brothers, this world does not love you, they don't love us, To the black man, to my black brothers, they don't think your life matters, they don't see you have a heart, they don't see you have a heart until you go into cardiac arrest, because they failed to arrest, and so they shot down your future, and killed your potential, your life was not held high and your past seems more important, the mistakes that you made, they hide their faces to the facts that their own sons have made the same, To the black man, to my black brothers, i love you and I am sorry, I wish this world was as kind to you as it is for the little blonde boy down the street, I am angered with the injustice that surrounds me, I am lacking words to truly convey all that black men really are and all they can be, I promise when I get married, I will love your skin tone, Only feed you with the best of the land, And stay in your arms hold your hard-working hands, I will cherish each moment, For i will never know if you will be taken from me, I will cherish each kiss and keep in mind the taste of your sweet plump lips, To the black man, to my black brothers I pray for your safety, that you reach home safely I love you You are important Your life matters Press on, be strong But don't be afraid to be soft To let down your facade I will wipe away your tears, No judgement For you have done it for the women To the black man, to my black brothers, Your life, God says is important as every others.
