G + S for the fanfic ask game!

G: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?

I'm notorious for writing scenes out of order. It's really bad. Like so bad in my big fic that I'm on chapter 37 and I'm back to stuff I wrote two years ago and the character dynamics have totally changed.

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

Only one bed, and pining. Also, is 'mistaken intentions' a trope? I feel like I'm a sucker for that one, too.

28. Favorite work you wrote this year?

I feel like I need to say something other than The Darkening Sky, as it kind of occupies a lot of space, so I'll say that the OTHER favorite thing I've written is Waited For And Wanted, my House of the Dragon fanfic about Laenor Velaryon, which did exactly what I wanted it to do in exactly the way I wanted to do it. It was tight, it was focused, and it was a nice way to enter a fandom I'd never written for before.
