Kotallo from Horizon Forbidden West.
First time I've posted anything in over a year and a half, kinda nervous 🥲 Relearning art again one step at a time.

I will still give all the spin-off games a fair shot because I'll gladly take any piece of Horizon I can get but I'm also eagerly waiting for Horizon 3; the main games are why we're here and what we want to play the most!
this isn’t my usual lis2 art but I love my boy kotallo he’s so niche for being from a huge game ☹️

Finished ‘Horizon: Forbidden West’ Burning Shores DLC. I loved Aloy and Seyka’s dynamic. That they had to overcome what keeps them both at arm’s length to trust in each other and grow the relationship between them. It was a wonderful little love story. Not forced. It was very natural and authentic. I really loved the ending dialogue when Aloy explains what a “home” really is and means for her. It reminded me of what Gabrielle says to Lin Chi in Xena about “sometimes people think a home is a place. It can be a person.” This line of thought and philosophy especially resonates for queer people who don’t feel like they belong in the place they grew up in and instead they find their family elsewhere with other queer people. Even if not attracted to them. Home is where the heart is and sometimes the heart does not lie with the people we have lived with from birth and this storyline did very well in showing and conveying that.
I also thought the entire DLC was just beautifully done. Very well paced. Great action scenes, great mechanics.
Well done to the devs! I enjoyed it immensely!
As a huge fan of the Horizon video game series, it was great to find and add these unique pieces to my collection! 🎮
Originally included in the limited Regalla Edition of Horizon Forbidden West, this Replica Focus & Stand is a wearable life-size recreation of the small augmented reality device worn by Aloy in the game. It even lights up! Plus, as an added bonus, I was able to pick up the Clawstrider and Sunwing Machine Strike pieces from the set as well!

(A/N: ^ The outfit that’s referenced from Forbidden West. Literally my favorite armor. I logged back into HZD: Forbidden West after a year, low and behold, I wasn’t surprised to see Aloy wearing the armor)
The quiet in your room was peaceful — the kind of stillness that comes at the end of a long day. You were kneeling near your pack, reorganizing supplies and setting aside a few salvaged parts. The soft golden light of dusk filtered through the little spaces of your window, dancing on the bronze trim of your armor.
