So Padme was a force-sensitive too?? I smell fanfics coming
whispers 17, either Alex/Eliza or Anakin/Padmé.
17: I know yourweakness. It’s kisses. You are doomed. (Don’t worry. We’re all doomed eventually.)
How the galaxy fell to the Dark Side, one kiss at atime. Or, an overview of the Sith PadméAU.
“Oh,” Padmé says in surprise as the Forcegoes yesss in the back of her mind atthe sight of a young boy with hair like sunshine and a presence like the sunitself. Her Jedi protectors are easilyas arrested by the boy’s presence, but she suspects for rather differentreasons. His power is spectacular, certainly, but there’s more—a sharp clickas of a lock, and something in her core says that is mine.
The boy’s head snaps up and his eyes meethers and she hears, clear as day, his voice, as it says, An angel.
When she meets him properly, Anakin with hissky-blue eyes and child’s voice, she offers her hand to shake. Instead, he takes it, reverent, and kissesher knuckles.
“I’m going to marry you, someday,” he tellsher solemnly, still holding her hand, and she smiles.
“I know.”
Force-Sensitive Padme AU Part 3
Part 3 of a Force-Sensitive!Padme AU that I had in my head that I decided to share because reasons.
[Part 1] [Part 2]
When Padmé finds out she is pregnant she freaks out - it’s the biggest violation of the code she’s ever heard of and she can’t see how she can get away with still being a Jedi.
She realises that she only had a few months to decide what she is going to do and that Anakin had to be told.
The next time she sees Anakin it is on campaign. She hadn’t wanted to tell him over the commlink and they had both been fighting and hadn’t seen each other since she found out.
He immediately can tell that something is wrong but she is acting all distant and he thinks he’s done something wrong and can’t tell what it is.
Finally they get into a confrontation and she tells him.
Anakin is both stunned and surprisingly excited.
When the whole Team is working together on a Separatist alligned planet, Obi-Wan can tell something is different. Anakin had been protective of Padmé before but never like this.
Nothing can even touch Padmé without being sliced in half.
Obi-Wan had always known - or suspected at least - that Anakin and Padmé were involved but when he eventually finds out about the baby he is gobsmacked and then both extatic and worried for them.
With Obi-Wans help, they come up with a plan.
Padmé and Anakin leave the Jedi Order, she goes to the Lake country and has the baby, disappearing for six months.
During those six months she talks to the Queen of the Naboo.
When she returns, she is the senator for the Naboo and joins the Senate.
She makes her mark almost immediately with her old friend and now mentor, Bail Organa, supporting her in her first bill.
She joins the loyalist committee and soon becomes the face of the opposition to the war.
She makes speeches, using her experience on the front lines to garner favour with some of the undecided senators.
Meanwhile, Anakin had been with the kids on Naboo.
When Ahsoka finds out about Anakin and Padmé leaving the Order, she guessed where they would have gone and seeks him out on Naboo.
She becomes Auntie ‘Soka to the twins
All this time, Order 66 has not been issued and the Clone Wars go on longer than in canon because Anakin leaving the Jedi Order put a huge spanner in the works.
Despite her differences with the council, they realise that they have a huge advantage with Padmé in the Senate like she is.
Padmé is sent as a spy against Palpatine instead of Anakin.
She is no longer affiliated with the Council so it is not on record.
The Council gives her back her lightsaber just in case.
On Naboo, Anakin has a dream about Padmé being endangered by the Sith Lord.
He immediately goes to Obi-Wan and Ahsoka for help.
Meanwhile, Palpatine has found out about Padmé’s spying and has decided it is time to enact his plan.
Obi-Wan goes to the Council about Anakin’s dream because he is still a member.
They tell him that they can’t act without proof but that there have been reports of Grievous hiding out on Utapau so they send him there.
Anakin organises for Ahsoka to look after Luke and Leia while he is away, and heads to Coruscant to save Padmé.
He arrived at the Jedi Temple and demands an audience with the council, who turns him away.
Meanwhile, Obi-Wan kills Grievous.
Padmé is the one who gives Palpatine the news.
Palpatine thinks that she is the best bet for him to have a powerful apprentice and he reveals his identity.
The confrontation turns violent with both of them pulling their lightsabers.
Agen Kolar, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, Saesee Tiin and Anakin move to take on Palpatine.
Mace tried to stop Anakin from coming, claiming it was “Jedi business ” and Anakin would only get in the way but Anakin explains the full situation; how he and Padmé married after they left the Order, Luke and Leia, who the Sith was and he finally relented.
The battle between Palpatine and Padmé goes a lot like the canon Made VS Palpatine fight.
Anakin and the Jedi walk in just as Palpatine disarms Padmé.
Anakin intercepts the killing blow and the Jedi jump into the fray.
Palpatine kills Kolar and Tiin almost immediately.
Kit puts up a fight but he is overwhelmed by Sidious when the Sith gets Kit alone for a moment.
It’s still 3 on 1 though and the Sith Lord is not a young man.
The battle goes on for many more minutes and eventually the Sith begins to make mistakes.
Mace disarms him. (Literally!)
Anakin strikes him down before anyone can object.
With Palpatine dead, the Clone Wars soon come to an end. With Dooku, Grievous and Sidious gone, the CIS is more than willing to negotiate peace.
Anakin is tried for Palpatine’s murder and found Not Guilty.
The Queen of Naboo asks Padme to stay on Coruscant more full time so the Skywalkers move there (Anakin wasn’t very pleased about leaving Naboo but at least he’ll get to see Obi-Wan much more often)
Anakin joins the Senate Security. It’s not particularly exciting but its better than the alternatives and almost has regular hours.
When the war ends, some of the clones end up working for the senate guard/joining security forces around the galaxy as a semi-retirement. Rex works under Anakin and they spend most of their days reminiscing and talking and reigniting their friendship.
Luke and Leia are even more extremely force-sensitive than in canon because they have high midichlorian counts on both sides of the family. Mace Windu’s eyes nearly bugged out of his head when he saw how high they were.
Still, the twins do not join the Jedi Order. Leia becomes a senate representative and Luke becomes a Grey Jedi.
He and Ahsoka go on adventures all over the galaxy, exploring, saving people and just generally getting into trouble. They end up having a kind of Master/Padawan relationship.
They end up collecting a few force-sensitives that never were found or weren’t accepted into the Jedi Order for various reasons and basically teach these slightly lost souls how to use their abilities without indoctrinating them into the Jedi way of doing things.
Just basically everyone ends up being happy.
