Despite being in Starfleet for as long as she had been, there were still some things that would completely stump her. The latest one was that the simple councilor had decided to give her orders and these were to attend any form of recreation activity that would bring her into contact with other member of the ship’s crew in a less formal manner. Calcite always thought she saw those clods more than enough while working that she couldn’t see any point in it at all. Still orders were orders and the next day she found herself in a casual cooking class, standing on a crate or two to be able to even reach the working surface with any semblance of comfort. She had even gone so far as to tie her fluffy hair into a loose bun to avoid it getting in the way.

Looking around Calcite thankfully didn’t spot anyone from engineering, though there was one person there who’s face would naturally be familiar to anyone aboard the Enterprise. Standing next to the class instructor was a human she recalled to be named Commander Something-or-other. Ricker? Rocker? Beardy? Whatever it was she had encountered him infrequently enough to not have been bothered with the specifics and saw no real reason why now should be any different. All she had to do was attend as few of these classes and then she could go back to Councilor Troi with some made up story that yes, she was feeling much better and yes, the near constant night terrors had stopped. That would probably be enough to get her off her back until her department head order her to go again.

Opening the book that had been placed on the table before the class started, the gem idly flicked through it while half listening to what the two humans in the front of the class had to say. There was no way it could be that important that it was worthy of her full attention anyway, right?

Finally finished this! May make minor changes or edits, but this is basically the final product. I really want to get this printed as a playmat; I have waifu mats but nothing for my husbandos :U Plus it sounds like these two team up, and since they're my two favourites I just wanted to draw them together! 

I also wanted to practice special effects since I hadn't done any since I got CPS and it's very different than Photoshop .n.Sorry for the ugly watermark .-.

Had to shrink it a bit for Tumblr because apparently it was too big to upload :|
