Fact: foreign candy is better than American candy.
The cookie dough flavored KitKat Chunky was good, largely because KitKat bars everywhere in the world besides the US are made by Nestle, whereas US KitKats are made by Hershey (Google it) using a different chocolate recipe. I love a KitKat, but foreign KitKats are better than American KitKats. This one didn’t really even taste like cookie dough, it just tasted better than the KitKats I’m used to. I like a Hershey’s Kiss or a mini Krackel every once in a while, but Hershey makes garbage chocolate. That’s the truth.
In the US, Hershey owns the rights to make its own approximation of Cadbury chocolate. This US Cadbury, of course, differs from the British recipe. And it tastes different. The Cadbury Caramello is a good candy bar, but compared to British Cadbury, it’s trash. There are so many amazing Cadbury products to be had outside of the US. These little chocolate covered shortcake Snack bars happen to be my favorite.
