As it remains a fact, due to Covid-19pandemic, the year 2020 was a total washout for foreign MBBS admissions with only online classes offered by universities across the globe. But in the case of Belarus, undergraduate medical course (MBBS) admissions were entertained in 2020 and the Students Batch had physically travelled to Gomel State Medical University and offline classes were conducted for them at the campus.
Special permission for the travel of students’ batch 2020 from India to Belarus was obtained from the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, with the combined efforts of the Belarus Parents Association and Medico Abroad Consultants, Hyderabad, India. The 2020 Batch students completed their first year studies purely in offline mode of classes and have returned to India in June 2021 for spending summer vacation.
In the capacity of Official Representative of Gomel State Medical University, Belarus, M/s Medico Abroad Consultants, Hyderabad, India provided admission and processing services to these students and their parents. They were assisted in visa stamping and travel arrangements. Besides, Mr. V.Rajaram, the Managing Partner had accompanied the students batch from India till Gomel (Belarus) and organized the quarantine, orientation and enrollment services to students. He stayed with the students for more than a month to acclimatize them and ensured smooth studies and living.
