It was warm when she came to, almost uncomfortably so– a source of heat at her side. She remembered the butt of a rifle to her face which now explained the dried blood from her nose and the way it hurt. That's when Vilja's memory had cut out, merely leaving her with slivers of images and sounds. The trunk of a car. Charming, even for the Apocalypse. And she wasn't alone either. Careful breathing next to her; not the sound of someone sleeping. When she turned, she could almost make out the man's features in the dim light filtering in. "You do this often?" The Finn tried with levity; trying not to let worry or even panic take over. But usually when she'd found herself in one in the past, it hadn't already been occupied. Now she rubbed at the dried blood on her face, giving up after a few moments. Pointless anyway. An older model, she didn't even bother trying to look for a trunk release. These where the rare times she was thankful for her small build. Now it allowed her to actually move beside the bulk of the man. "Did you catch what exactly it is they want?" Perhaps killing them would've been easier, that they hadn't and just stuffed them in a trunk instead told her they had plans. As for Vilja, she had no intention of sticking around. "Did they lock it?" She asked, head turning towards him as she considered him for a moment. One foot steadied against the lid of the trunk as the other started kicking at the break light. ( No time to wonder about what had happened to Lumi and Nikolai. With any luck they'd ducked away if he'd paid any attention. Couldn't sit around waiting to be rescued either really. ) Perhaps she'd be able to reach the trunk release from the outside. "Vilja, by the way." The woman remembered her manners, especially when she was already using his legs as a backrest with her current endeavour– extending her hand with a soft smile.
